Q: Do you transmit
claims electronically?
New Jersey Healthcare Solutions deso process claims electronically. Our experience shows that claims are paid faster. Most of the
insurance companies want you to be credentialed with them
before we can submit electronically for you.
Q: What about
re-submissions?
New Jersey Healthcare Solutions do secondary resubmissions as part of our service,
tertiary processing, no. We suggest you have the patient
pay and then get reimbursed from the tertiary.
Q: How do I get my
claims to you?
You can fax them or send them UPS priority mail. We
will provide you with the pre-labeled mail packs so that the
EOBs and claims get to us at least three times per week.
Once we receive your claims, we submit them electronically
the same day.
Q: How soon will be
you be able to start submitting claims for me?
It takes approximately two to three weeks for commercial carriers before we can start submitting
claims for you. It will take longer if you are a new
practice. We usually start submitting claims at the
beginning of the month. For Medicare it can take up to 30 days.
Q: What do we do
with our existing patient data?
You can photocopy the information from your system and send it to us and continue to provide us with the most current information as you get new patients or information on existing patients change.
Q: What about
secure patient data?
Our network is state of the art and all of our client
data is backed up several times per day with offsite
storage. Our building is very secure and has an alarm
system.

Q: I am under
contract with another billing company. What should I do?
If this is the case, you should look at your contract to
see if there are any penalties for changing services in the
middle of the contract. We prefer
that you work with us as your Billing Service. Of course,
if you are not under a contract with your present billing
service, you should, as a courtesy write them a letter
explaining that you are changing to another service.
Q: Who will handle
my practice claims?
Each practice is assigned a Team of at least two
Professional Certified Coders to handle any and all aspects
of your practice.
Q: Who collects
money paid from claims?
We do not collect any money. When your claims are paid,
the money is sent directly to your office.
Q: What services
can you offer a new practice?
One of our staff members will come to your office for a consultation. Our services
include office relocation or location, practice setup,
staffing needs, letterhead, telephone services, etc. You

Q: Why do you
charge a setup fee?
Each and every one of your patients’ information has to
be entered into 6 areas of our state of the art medical
equipment. This ensures our ability to provide you with top
notch services such as reports on a monthly, quarterly or
yearly basis.
Q: Do you offer
transcription services?
We only offer transcription services to large medical practices and hospitals.
